Donation Terms

These Donation Terms apply to contributions made through gamegivesback.org (the "Site").

1. Who receives your donation

Game Gives Back ("GGB") is a fiscally sponsored project of Reeb Avenue Center ("Sponsor"), a nonprofit corporation exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (EIN 46-3956659). All donations made through the Site are made to Sponsor, for the benefit of the Game Gives Back project. Sponsor is the legal recipient of your gift and issues your tax receipt.

2. Team selection and use of funds

When you donate you choose a team, for example Team Ohio State (benefiting The Reeb Center) or Team Michigan (benefiting ChadTough Defeat DIPG). Your choice is a designation of preference. Sponsor intends to grant funds raised for each team to that team's beneficiary. As required for tax-deductible contributions to a fiscally sponsored project, Sponsor keeps full discretion and control over the use of all donated funds. If a beneficiary cannot accept funds, or if using funds as designated becomes impossible, impractical, or inconsistent with Sponsor's exempt purposes, Sponsor may redirect the funds to a similar charitable purpose.

Team totals shown on the Site are provided for engagement and may include online gifts, offline gifts, grants, and matching gifts. They are updated periodically and are not an official accounting.

3. Tax deductibility

Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for your donation. You will receive an email receipt for your records. Please consult your tax advisor about your situation.

4. Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full card or bank account number. Your payment is also subject to the terms of the payment method you use (for example Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App Pay, or Amazon Pay). Card charges appear on your statement from Reeb Avenue Center and include GAME GIVES BACK. All amounts are in U.S. dollars.

If you choose to cover processing fees, an additional amount is added to your gift to offset the estimated processing cost. The full amount you pay is your tax-deductible donation.

Bank (ACH) payments may take several business days to complete. Your receipt is sent when the payment clears.

5. Refunds

Donations are generally non-refundable. If you made an error, such as a wrong amount, a duplicate gift, or an unauthorized charge, see our Refund Policy or contact us within 30 days at info@gamegivesback.org.

6. Public recognition

We do not publish donor names unless you choose to be shown. If you select "give anonymously," your name will not appear publicly. Your gift still counts toward your team's total.

7. Eligibility and accuracy

You confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide, and that the information you submit is accurate. We may decline or reverse any transaction we reasonably suspect is fraudulent.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your information.

9. Trademarks

Game Gives Back is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by The Ohio State University, the University of Michigan, or the Big Ten Conference. Team names are used for descriptive purposes only.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the latest version, and changes do not affect gifts already made.
