Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Game Gives Back, a fiscally sponsored project of Reeb Avenue Center ("we"), handles information collected on gamegivesback.org.

What we collect

  • Donation information: your name, email, ZIP/postal code, donation amount, team choice, optional message, and whether you chose to give anonymously.
  • Payment information: collected and processed directly by Stripe. We receive only limited details, such as card brand, last four digits, and wallet type. We never see or store your full card or bank account number.
  • Usage data: aggregated, privacy-respecting analytics (pages viewed, device type). We do not use advertising cookies.

How we use it

  • To keep accurate records for the fiscal sponsor's legal, tax, and audit obligations
  • To show team totals, and your name only if you opt in
  • To send campaign updates, only if you opt in
  • To prevent fraud and keep the Site secure

Sharing

We do not sell or rent donor information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that help us operate, under confidentiality obligations: Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Cloudflare (bot protection)
  • The fiscal sponsor, which is the legal recipient of your gift
  • The beneficiary of your chosen team, limited to aggregate totals
  • Authorities, when required by law

Retention

Donation records are kept for at least 7 years to meet tax and audit requirements. Marketing preferences can be changed at any time.
